Battle Caster
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
Hello!
This is an early prototype of a game I'm making! Currently, I've got one level, and 3 deathmatch levels.
Battle Caster is a retro-style FPS (a "mock raycaster" if you will), where you, an apprentice, need to rescue your master after he goes to explore a tomb, and doesn't come back. Featuring the ability to use spell tomes to modify how your guns function, this game is a throwback to the likes of Wolfenstein 3D.
What I need to finish:
- SFX and Music
- A sprite for the player character
- Enemies occasionally explode twice
- The other 7 levels
- Graphics for the menu, and intermission, and end-of-episode
- Background graphics
- Retro-style lighting

Install instructions
Unzip the folder, then select the version of the game that matches the OS.
For the Mac version, you will need to open the Package Contents, then move the "FPS Motor.pck" file that is in the "Resources" folder, to the "MacOS" folder.
